No, that is the end result and easy blame there. If the O scores in the numerous red zone opportunities they have
Toledo and USF DO NOT run the ball as much as they were. They can't. When you play from behind the only chance you have is to pass, pass, pass.
In the first half against Toledo we should have been up at least 21-3, if not 28-3. At that point Toledo would abandon the run because of the big deficit. Same could be said about the USF game.

Yeah, I'll keep defending them to a certain degree. I think they played well enough for the O to win Toledo and USF.
