While BYU definitely has institutional issues that will never change, the bigger problem is that fans' expectations about the team's performance do not equate to fans' willingness to provide the team the resources necessary to reach that level of performance.
Some BYU fans are excellent.
On the whole, we do a terrible job of supporting the team by donating to the Cougar Club and other 'foundations' used to recruit and compensate high quality coaches.
