You would have to think he’d be the front runner if Holmoe is putting...
...together a list. I’m sure feelers would go out to non-BYU LDS coaches but with Anae having already had success at BYU you’d have to think he’d be at the top of the list. I think one of the reasons he didn’t get much of a look the last time around (if you believe CB) is that he’s somewhat abrupt and abrasive in his communication style and that he’s not a great recruiter as a result. Also as pendulums swing from one extreme to the other, I would venture a guess that the fact that Kalani is probably the very opposite of Anae would be another reason why Dr Bob would get a hard look this time.
