Against Toledo and USF, offense had opportunities to pull away by scoring more TDs. Facing a bigger deficit, both Toledo and USF would have been forced to throw the ball more, something neither team does well. This would then help the BYU defense.
Sitake has lost way too many of these games in which BYU was rightly favored. This team has enough talent for at least 7-8 wins this season. But because coaches are again struggling to put it all together, it will be a miracle if they get to 6 wins. I started the season with the mindset to stay positive and supportive, but this last game has proven my patience is severely lacking.
