I'm not sure it is really that much faster - maybe once I-11 is done.

We make the drive north several times per year and Flagstaff to Page to Pangquitch/Highway 20 is almost always faster for us. Plus you get to avoid Vegas altogether which is a bonus because who wants to drive through that brown cloud.

Depends how much you speed. I can speed a lot more on interstate than one lane highways.
