One of my stupid little dreams is to produce a documentary, or even series about north american trout, grayling, and char. The idea would be to have one episode per subspecies, or if multiple subspecies were found in the same water (like west slope cutthroat and bull trout) cover them in the same episode. Have more of a nature/wildlife conservation angle than even a flyfishing focus, but still catch everything on a fly. Sell it to Netflix or something. The idea of driving around the west chasing and documenting the remaining obscure subspecies is my idea of heaven.
