What kind of work is she doing? Is physically present in the office required?
If so FMLA or termination may be the only options if things do not change.
If working remotely is an option then perhaps her health would be better staying in her home and not interacting with other people/carriers...

Yes, physical presence is required. It's unique enough where WFH isn't an option
