No sir it isn’t. Football keeps their concessions but not at BYU.
Also, BYU budget for football includes clean up of stadium after games but no intake from concessions. Seriously flawed model! I know this because I served on the BOD for the Cougar Club under Tom Holmoe’s direction. Me and my associate were in charge of fund raising and building the IPF as well as the SAC. Big project we succeeded in but show me another school that mandates 50% has to be paid in advance before construction can begin with the balance being paid back over time on a note.
Also, the kiosks were profit centers for BYU food services (not the football program) which were a pet project for one of the top admin officials while I served. Bad business model for football program since concessions can amount to a large percentage of income from a captive audience there to watch football. 🤷🏻♂️
