somewhat lower level and has remained pretty steady ever since, with the exception of a dip in the latter Crowton years (no bowls for 3 years sucked).

In retrospect, the consecutive ugly, humiliating blowout losses to Hawaii and Texas A&M (I was at that Holiday Bowl) after Ty won the Heisman in 1990 probably started the downward shift to a lower plateau of interest for me, along with the fact that I graduated from BYU and started a career. There have been many ups and downs since then, but my overall level of interest hasn’t changed much.
