I think Grimes is a good coach. I don't agree with a lot of his play-calling in the red zone but we have some offensive line talent issues and we're down to our an experienced backup QBs. Kalani isn't a good head coach or even a good defensive coach. Our defense should be way better than it is now and the fact that he can't fix it says a lot about his ineptitude. But the main problem is his inability to recruit. A lot of people are blaming the high standards of BYU for not being get enough talent but I see plenty of LDS kids going elsewhere not because they're not smart or have lower standards.
