Yes that's true. Their OOC schedule was awful
However for this year I don't think it would have mattered if they had one of the best OOC schedules. It's very posssible that only undefeated teams will be in the playoff. Oklahoma and Clemson are almost a given, and Alabama/LSU could happen along with Ohio State/Wiscy. A big problem with the current set up that hasn't happened yet, is what if conf champions from all 5 P5's go undefeated? Right now that would be a big problem
