Independence has brought ESPN money, but it has also tarnished this teams brand. Where is our winning tradition. Where is our program identity. Blue Chip LDS kids are looking at other programs so our recruiting is getting worse. The current coaching staff is a train wreck.

BYU in a P5 conference is 10+years to even get respectable....if they find the right coach and identity. They will be Rutgers or Oregon State or Vanderbilt with the current state of the program.

9 years of independence and I don't see any improvement in any element of the program. Nothing. What has the AD been doing all this time? They certainly haven't been preparing the football program to competed at a higher level.

I am at a point where I think G5 may be the only path moving forward. It will suck, but BYU is a G5 level program at best right now. I have no appetite being in a P5 conference and getting the crapped kicked out of the team week in and week out.
