BYU had potential to be top 25 if they would have taken care of business vs. Toledo and USF.
That's the difference right there. Boise may have slipped up on a late night, in the rain/snow, and lost to BYU (they had a chance to win it at the end if we didn't make that 4th down rush). Chances are, they will most likely bounce back and run the table.
BYU gets trounced by Washington and instead of stepping up our game we drop head-scratchers to Toledo and USF before finally righting the ship vs. BSU.
That's the difference between our program and a top 25 program right now. We can talk about talent gap, Indy vs. Conference, being in a P5 until we are blue in the face but until our coaching staff can get us to play consistently....it won't matter.
