Is this really the defense for players who have gone on a mission?
I'm not sure why anyone would say "why isn't everyone else doing it"? They aren't doing it for a litany of reasons, and I'm not sure if you're being facetious or serious since it seems fairly obvious. If you're serious, I can list the main reasons.
I don't think it's cheating or anything else of that nature, but it's definitely at least a small advantage.

If it was a benefit more colleges would be sending their athletes on a similar service program - wouldn’t they?
