Many people here used to work for Oracle and hated every single minute of it. I don't think I've heard a single positive word about Oracle here.

If you need a really, really, really big database, they are good for that.

Couldn't agree with you more. Our company uses SaleForce and Oracle CRM (GEM) depending on the business unit.

I don’t know how long ago you worked with them, but I think if they were to die now their useful products could be sold

Oracle DB is one of their best products. They raised prices so much that now we’re almost completely eliminating it
