At least the NFL has a salary cap and parity to keep it interesting.

I think CFB should try to do something unique to draw interest in the way its champion is determined. 

If I were CFB czar, I’d try to create a champions league-style tournament with 16 teams playing 3 pool-play games for advancing to an 8 team knock-out stage. The tournament would run 6 weeks beginning in then first week of December and running through mid January.
