I was a manager in the service industry for about 10 years. I have worked with several dozen black and hispanic women over that time period.

The customer service experience given by those women was not at the same level as others. Could not get them to smile, act happy, greet customers etc. Granted, a smallish sample size, but the area I was in about half my workers were black/hispanic and the other half were white.

The difference was there.

This may make me sound like a complete racist, but this was definitely my experience.
