that the average football fan around the country would laugh out loud when he hears Kalani in a post game presser after beating the Liberty Flames by a touchdown, in a game where Liberty had the ball with a chance to win it, in a season where Kalani has dropped games at Toledo and South Florida, in a head coaching career where he is hovering at .500 over 4 seasons, would say “can you get us in a big time conference?”
I know most of you feel the way you do, but take a good hard look at how the rest of the country perceives this kind of statement, given our performance the past 4 seasons.
You know darn well, you'd all laugh if Army or Liberty's coach had that answer. It smacks of arrogance given our performance.
If we want to get into the big time conference, Liberty can't have the ball with a chance to beat us in our stadium, and you have to be better than .500 over 4 years.
