Would you rather I didn't? He likes talking BYU football, especially since
another member of the EQ Presidency is a die-hard Aggie fan and they have had a running verbal joust all year about that game and what its outcome would be. The Aggie fan is appropriately humbled now 😉
It may surprise you that people talk about things at church all the time that are not necessarily church related. Of course, over the pulpit, that would not be appropriate, but, all sorts of conversations go on in the hallways.
By the way, this player's wife is a red-blooded, back many generations Ute fan. She is very low key about it, but, she likes the football talk as well. It's easier when you always win 🙁
