Foundation of scheme, execution, physical play, play calling....
What is this BYU team known for? What do they always do well? That should be there foundation. Usually the trait of any coach is his team almost always do (fill in the blank) well. I don't see that with Kalani's teams.
At times he is able to get the team riding high and they play very well. Other times when they aren't riding high he can't fall back on executing a solid scheme or physical play or whatever it might be.
