Everyone's confidence improves after playing UMASS. UMASS is historically one of the worst teams ever and that game has no bearing on our game. 

We aspire to be Bama. My son aspires to be Steph Curry. Means nothing. We should have had extra motiviation using this same argument because the Baptists hate Mormon doctrine and deny our Christianity.
