Trust me. Why would the committee rematch LSU vs. Alabama when the Tide already
gave up 46 points to the Tigers at home? That's not fair to LSU or the fans. Who wants to see a rematch on neutral field only a few weeks later?
It makes no sense. Bama had their chance.
The provision in the CFB charter is to favor conference champions over non-champions. That's the other break for the Utah/Oregon winner.
