The SEC deserves 2 teams only because 3 would cause riots. The BIG10 is a lot tougher than the PAC, so they deserve a spot next. Clemson is Clemson and will get in barring a miracle upset. After that, the BIG12 would get their winner in. Depending on the finish, I would think the BIG10 runner up would get in.
If Georgia beats Auburn I can’t see any argument for Oregon getting in. A win over Oregon will not overcome a loss to USC so I think this is why Utah is not and will not be part of any realistic playoff picture. This will be cemented if any remaining games are close wins. They all have to be very convincing to provide any hope.
