After listening to those ESPN guys during the USU/BYU game, it's gotta be Bama.
The one guy just couldn't get over Oregon's loss being to a team that is #5 in the SEC - saying there's no way they deserve a playoff spot even if they win out.
I just can't imagine the committee giving a playoff spot to a 1 loss Utah team who lost to an unranked nobody versus a 1 loss Alabama team that lost to the #1 team in the country by one score. Who "deserves" it in that scenario where you're picking between two teams with one loss?
I'm betting that the committee folks value a loss to the #1 team over a loss to an unranked team.
