Guys that are 6-9+ that can acutually play don't grow on trees.    I hear people say every year that we need to bring in a JC big to fill a hole.  Well, about 300 D-1 schools are thinking the same.  If they are really good, LDS or not, they typically don't come here.  Most of the time we recruit based on potential....and sometimes hope.   Because of their size, bigs put more stress on their bodies and are prone to get chronic injuries.  Many never really pan out for that and other reasons.
