should be charged with assault, too. Sports "should" be played aggressively, but they should never be played "violently", as in, someone wants to physically cause damage and pain to your body OUTSIDE the rules of the game. A hard tackle is acceptable, swinging a helmet, unprovoked, after a play is over is not.
