trick plays or screens. Against Boise, the better team he played, we couldn't do anything in the 2nd or 4th. To be fair, I attribute that to our OL play (see also below).
As I posted yesterday, the good and bad with Zach is that he tries to go through his progressions more vs. Romney who just gets the ball out faster to his primary read. This is partially why there are more sacks and throw aways with Zach playing, although its baffling that our OL still can't protect the qb for more than 2 seconds (the main offensive issue). On a positive front, Zach's extending the play with his legs has resulted in some good plays too, notable several against USC.
Stay the course. Wilson is the man for the job. He's also coming off injury to his shoulder and thumb. He may need an off season to get fully up to his potential, although I thought I heard a rumor he may need off season shoulder surgery on his non throwing arm. If so, that opens up the competition even more. I actually think Hall is the qb with the most combined upside, but he's not exactly available or reliable due to his concussions.
The offense needs an upgrade at OG positions, and also needs to replace some WRs going into next year. If they can do that, the offense will be fine in 2020, regardless of the qb.
