I think BYU is better than Michigan State or Texas Tech this year, which is the
point we were discussing. I’ll point out that the same Sagarin ranking that puts BYU behind those 2 schools has utah ranked #11, well behind #6 Oklahoma, as well as Penn St., Michigan, and Wisconsin.
As for the last 10 years, yes, I think this may be one of BYU’s better teams during that stretch. 2009 was definitely better, but I’m not sure any others were. Maybe 2016, with Taysom and Jamaal as seniors. Ask me again after the season ends.
