Anyone with anything more than a very small family has some weirdo's...
in their family. I've got a cousin who is really just a lazy ne'r do well but claims to have PTSD because he was in the army and he spent a few months in the Gulf war fueling trucks at a base in Kuwait. Never saw or even heard a bit of combat, just filled trucks with gas all day long. Has parlayed that into a reason to marry a stripper, do more drugs than any human should be able to do and live, plus try to collect every bit of government handouts he possible can. And he never stops talking about the "trauma" of being in a war and how he'll never be able to function again.

I've got an uncle who refuses to eat anything without ketchup on it. So for Thanksgiving he needs to have a bottle of ketchup and he pours it all over his turkey, ham, potatoes, stuffing, corn, whatever.

I could go on of course, I have a very large family, but you get the point we've all got weirdo's to deal with in family gatherings of any siinificant size.
