There is the stigma of Thanksgiving being awkward with extended family saying
weird or inappropriate stuff and making things uncomfortable. Isn't this also true of Christmas as well? Maybe not day of but don't you get together with extended family on Christmas Eve or new years or something.

Those of you with toxic or weirdo family members please weigh in.
