BYU-Idaho is a very hard sell to many potential professors.
From what I have seen, there is a large amount of administrative restriction on professors at BYU-Idaho.
Add in the fact that research is essentially banned and the fact that you are stuck teaching a lot of introductory classes it is easy to see why BYU-Idaho attracts only a very niche collection of professors.
