Sears isn't on Utah's radar anymore. The coaches are really high on Rising and
Sears will be a junior next year. The only way Sears comes to Utah is if he wants to be a backup for 2 years. Utah will likely take 1 more freshman in this class as insurance in case Shelley transfers.
I'm a little higher on Powell as a QB than you. He left Baylor because they wanted him to change positions, so I don't think he comes to Utah to not play QB... Now I wouldn't be surprised if he changes positions at some point, but he'll get a long hard look at QB.
