What is their current cashflow situation?
What are the variable costs to show this game?
How many people do they need to sign up to break even on this game?
Are they even trying to break even on this game or is it a loss leader for something else?
How much do their advertisers pay? What do their advertisers want? How are the rates their advertisers pay impacted by eyeballs for this game?
What do their loan covenants say about subscribers/revenue... etc etc etc...

My point is that you probably don't know if this is a bad business decision because you don't have enough data (and neither do I).
