My dad's scam calls are about 5% of what they were when he had a land line. He already had the cell phone though (flip phone) so it was not a big leap.

One thing I note though is he had a need to get his heart rate up yelling at those callers. Once those stopped it was like his only cardio was gone. Now he gets agitated with other things easier because he hasn't vented at telemarketers in a while.
