Very true. I'm not sure how old Walrus is but age has caused me to readjust
how I lift to still get the same workout. Full range of motion may no longer be possible at a certain age due to increased injury.

I know for me, I'm very careful with shoulders especially on flat bench. Elbows are my secondary concern. No issues with knees though.
