If you are a "BYU Fan" and do not maintain a natural visceral disgust of U of U
sports, you should at the very least understand and concede that anything good that happens for the U of U sports is equally (or even compounded at times) bad for BYU sports. It is at best a zero sum game.
Therefore, cheering for U of U in any way is wishing bad on BYU.
Dr. Hill and the gang knew this and the first chance they got they tried to marginalize BYU with scheduling.
You don't have to be crazy and irrational about it, but quit with the Utah love.
And NO, you don't have to give credit where you think it is due. Just be quiet.
