I envy the fans who can watch and enjoy and not get so emotionally invested. I'm outside of Utah so I don't make it to too many of the games anymore, but the ones I do make it to are always the ones where we crap the bed. SDSU this year, Utah State last year, Wisconsin the year before. Sat through the 54-10 beat down while I was in school (and every other home game), and stayed there through the whole thing.

11 - 19 against Utah in my lifetime. BYU has won 3 of the last 17. So basically we've won 3 since I've been old enough to pay attention.

Watched Utah join the Pac 12. Then TCU join the Big 12. Then BYU scramble for independence.

Watched BYU's recruiting ranking go from #33 in 2010 to #78 last year. I know 2010 was uncharacteristically high. But still. The trend isn't good.

The Jimmer years were definitely the best time ever to be a BYU fan, and even that came to a frustrating halt with the Davies fiasco.

For my own sanity I need to stop caring so much. BYU sports has not been good to me.
