direction with Pope even though tonight sucked. I guarantee some fun games with Yoeli back and don't be surprised if we are right there competing for the WCC title or at least giving Gonzaga and St. Mary's some competition instead of rolling over like we have done in previous years.

Football, on the other hand, I'm more nervous about and don't have as much confidence. I was feeling like they had maybe *finally* turned the corner after dropping the Toledo and USF games, but then SDSU happened. The fact that we can beat teams like USC and Boise State, but lose to such awful teams is extremely concerning. We have no consistency whatsoever. Next season is most likely going to be more of the same...we will get beat around easily by a couple of the P5s we play and will most likely drop a game or two we shouldn't and will be fighting to make a bowl again by the end of the year. I worry things will stay the same until we can find a way into a conference. I'm more in the same boat with you for football and don't have any positive spin.
