Jerry drafted Aikman and Emmitt Smith. He took over in 1989, their last SB win
was in 1996 (the 1995 season).
I hate the Cowboys, don't like Jerry, but clearly he made some good moves a long time ago. And they were 1-15 in his first year as owner/GM, so it's not like they were already awesome and he just rode it. Maybe just dumb luck, who knows. But I do agree they would be better off if he was more hands-off at this point.
