We all wish BYU made the final four. But the Stanford result shows that better
seeding for BYU might only have been delaying the embarrassment. BYU-Stanford look like an FA Cup match between a mid-table Championship team and a top-table Premiership team. The gulf of talent was staggering. Given that UNC took Stanford to PKs, BYU was probably a 3-goal underdog to the Heels.
