They don’t take you out of the movie anymore. And there is still some good in it.

I can’t remember 2 and 3, so this might still change in the coming days as I get to them, but I feel like Liam Neeson’s Qui-Gon was a really good Alec Guinness Obi-Wan, more so than Ewan McGregor's actual Obi-Wan... But maybe it’s cause they were just of more similar age, and Ewan will grown into that in 2 and 3 and whatever else he does in the future.

I’ve always found the Palpatine and Anakin story fascinating, so I never dismissed the prequels as much as most, but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Episode 1 this time.
