My dad was a big utah booster and crimson club member for 30 plus years. He was also an active member of the church and so were most of the crimson club members who had tickets in our aread around the 50 yard line 10th row. Not saying there weren't idiot Utah fans back in the 80's because there were. But I was at all the Utah games that fall (didn't leave on my mission until January 1986) and I don't remember this happening. This seems like something I would have remembered...
