Saturday, November 9. I was a student at the time and drove up to Logan for the game, which was as played in a blizzard. Utah State held a moment of silence prior to the game to honor President Kimball. During that moment, a small handful of immature students did indeed boo and made catcalls. They were pretty much called out and shut down by their own. I have no idea if anything mentioned by the OP happened at Utah or not.
