BYU joining the Big 12 was being reported on Dallas sports radio during that tim

Big 12 was expecting that BYU was going to accept. I heard the reporting with my own ears while living on Dallas. BYU had an opportunity, but was reluctant for some reason. Then TCU was offered.. fans will never know for sure....but I firmly believe BYU had a change but passed it up.
