We have both.
Actually we have 3 large artificial trees (Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen) and one real tree (Master Bedroom), and small artificial trees in the Library and other bedrooms.
Yeah, we're one of those families.

We did real trees for quite awhile but I finally had enough. Pre-lit artificial and I'm not going back.
