I am of the belief that we need to go back to institutionalizing people.

We locked people up to an extreme before and now it’s rare to do so. We should be somewhere in the middle.

Too many believe we can treat with meds.

We shut that down because of rampant abuse. Not sure we can avoid that.

We diagnose mental illnesses at a much much higher rate now than we did before.
