I’m sure it was not fun work and often times attracted less than stellar
Employees. I don’t know what the answer is but I think there might be a middle ground between what we did then and what we do now.
Regulation could require education and certifications along with regular check ups and monitoring. With the advancements of technology and our knowledge of mental illnesses we could probably figure something out if we tried.
