CDV We aren’t friends.
POLL: Let's say you are mid thirties. You have some debt, but not a lot. Married. 2.5 kids. You currently make $125,000/year. Your job is relatively stress free and pretty safe.
You are offered a job for $350,000/year plus profit sharing which will likely add on lump sums of maybe $25,000 to $50,000 annually. The stress will be enormous. So much so that you will really dislike your work week and will work lots of nights and weekends. It will include lots of travel. You will like your co-workers and your boss. If you take the job, you must stick with it for 5 years at least. At the end of 5 years, you can go back to your old job if you choose.

**This is not a humble brag or anything. I don't have this choice in front of me, I ma not mid thirties and I do not have 2.5 kids. Just wondering out loud about how much it takes to make stress worth it.
