I haven’t been a huge fan of the show is all. My wife fell asleep, and she usually loves Star Wars. Just felt like The A Team in Space with poor characters who I hoped would all get killed off.

You can’t say on one hand that you’re going to put the show on Tattooine, with a baby yoda, parroting old lines from past movies, and then claim you’re going a different direction and aren’t going to explain whether there’s any reason behind all this Star Wars fan fodder. If you put in a little Yoda species and retrace the old Skywalker stomping grounds, viewers are going to want to see a point for why it’s doing so. Otherwise you’re just baiting for eyeballs in a show that has nothing to do with those reasons for why most of the fans are watching.
