I know him and his family (lived in the same neighborhood)
The 'BYU hate' narrative is massively overstated. They are a class-act family 100% and some of the finest people you'll ever meet. They are also hardcore Ute fans.
I can't imagine him being boorish to any BYU fan ever, just not in his character at all.
That being said, in my opinion, the only chance Morgan Scalley came to coach here was if he was called by the Prophet to do so.
